SOURCES OF TENDENCY OF TAKFEER AND ITS REMEDIES IN THE LIGHT OF AHADITH AL-NABWIYAH

Abstract

Pakistani Society is facing many serious problems regarding religion. Takfeer is one of them. Sectarianism, insult of holy persons and books, prejudice, intolerance, impatience, extremism, acquisition of authority and individual or party benefits are major causes of Takfeer. In Islam, Takfeer is prohibited because a muslim is in the shelter of Allah and Prophet. Islam considers the act of Takfeer like killing a muslim. A muslim is strictly prohibited to call “O Non-Muslim” the other. It is mandatory to offer the funeral prayer for every muslim. We can deal with the issue of Takfeer by providing justice, tolerance and by promoting the Islamic Studies and the etiquettes of contradiction. According the teachings of Islam, it is necessary to avoid of Takfeer of the person whose statement is doubtful, forced, ignorant or given mistakenly.
